No previous president would have attempted – genuinely, no former commander would have contemplated – unilaterally destroying significant portions of the White House to build a royal-themed celebration hall, with the active collaboration of some of the nation's most affluent, almost all of whom have business with public institutions.

As confusing as it is to witness the leader attempt to overturn the old idea about democracy and replace it with its complete opposite, there exists a significant segment among Americans who should not find it totally unfamiliar. A Struggle for the Highest Among Us
Therefore I have felt heartened to witness the determined opposition to Trump arise over the last twelve months.
