It's tough for the Australian squad to break new ground.

The top summits have been successfully scaled.

We're talking about the team that has won seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to an additional six T20 titles, and once went 1,294 days undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The secondary achievements, the ones sought by the peak baggers, are the only things left for a squad that has accomplished all there is.

She was tormented by India's emerging talent Kranti Gaud in recent ODI series, fallen to the emerging pace bowler in each encounter, but this time it merely gave Healy's motivation.

A single came off Gaud's first delivery and from that point the batsman was underway.

"An opportunity to go out there and face the challenge with her and simply enjoy myself that way, kind of motivated me," commented Healy.

She reached fifty in 35 balls - her fastest at a World Cup - and her ton in 84 deliveries while she punished short deliveries, hitting 21 fours and three big hits.

When she was dismissed Australia needed 66 more at one run per ball - an achievable target now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"Chasing 330 runs is uncharted waters so I'm pleased we have the belief to achieve that now," stated Healy further.

"Hopefully we don't have to do it another time but, should it happen, we know we can succeed."

These statements will be the ultimate thing rival teams at this tournament need to hear.

During the last week a feeling they will win from any position has only strengthened - this success succeeding victory over Pakistan by 107-run victory despite being 76-7 at one point.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before a match against traditional opponents England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a last-four spot may probably be guaranteed.

It was at that stage they exited last year's T20 World Cup in a shock defeat by South Africa - an encounter Healy couldn't play because of ruptured tissue in her foot as she led her country for the inaugural occasion at a significant event.
