The European Union might “respond swiftly and decisively” in response to what it calls “unjustified” travel bans issued by the United States against five European individuals working on fighting digital hatred and misinformation, an EU official has said.

European Leaders Condemn US Move as ‘Intimidation’

European leaders including the French president charged the US administration of “bullying and threats”, following the travel bans were placed on individuals that were at the heart of efforts to enact laws governing American tech companies.
