Assassin's Creed Reveals Surprising AoT Event for Holiday Season
In a unexpected partnership that defies conventional forecasts, the game developer has announced an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Mission Revealed
According to the official statement, "A strange encounter draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where whispers of prohibited practices and monstrous changes echo through the obscurity." The plot presents a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a hidden sect.
The adventure focuses on "bizarre trials and a monstrous enemy" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Transformations
The preview showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer ends with a powerful scene showing a character, presumably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Rewards and Additional Material
Players who successfully complete the mission will acquire an special katana in addition to several items hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:

Latest Free Story Update
